Yes, though surf is the dominant culture. Non-surfers come for cliffside sunsets, beach clubs (Savaya, Ulu Cliffhouse), spa days, the Uluwatu Temple Kecak performance, and the dramatic clifftop villa experience.
How far is Uluwatu from Canggu?
Roughly 60–90 minutes by car depending on traffic. Most guests pick one area to base in rather than split between Canggu and Uluwatu; the drive is real.
Are Uluwatu villas walkable to restaurants?
Generally no. Uluwatu is car/scooter-dependent. The trade-off: villas have private chefs, in-villa dining and cliff views, so you eat in more than you do in Seminyak.
