Cancellation Policy
This page explains, in general terms, how cancellations, date changes, and refunds work for bookings made through Bali Luxury Stays. It is placeholder copy provided for go-live and has not yet been reviewed by the owner or legal counsel.
The policy shown at checkout is the binding one
Each villa carries its own cancellation policy. The exact terms that apply to your stay — including the cut-off dates and the refund amount — are displayed on the checkout page before you pay, and that per-villa policy is the one that governs your booking. The descriptions below are a general guide only; if they differ from what is shown at checkout, the checkout policy applies.
The three policy tiers
Most villas use one of three tiers. The day-counts below are illustrative placeholders only and are pending the owner confirming the exact terms — always rely on the policy shown at checkout for your specific villa and dates.
Flexible. Free cancellation up to roughly 14 days before check-in, with a full refund of amounts paid. Cancellations closer to arrival may receive a partial refund or none.
Moderate. Free cancellation up to roughly 30 days before check-in, with a full refund of amounts paid. Within that window, a partial refund or no refund may apply.
Strict. A partial refund may be available up to roughly 7 days before check-in; cancellations after that point are generally non-refundable.
Peak-season dates and long-stay bookings may carry stricter terms than the tier above. Where that applies, the stricter terms are shown at checkout for the affected dates.
How to request a cancellation or date change
To cancel or to ask about changing your dates, contact our reservations team and quote your booking reference. We will confirm the policy that applies to your booking and the refund, if any, before anything is processed.

Date changes are subject to availability and to any difference in the nightly rate for the new dates, and are not guaranteed.
How refunds are processed
Bookings are charged in full at the time of booking, in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), through our payment provider, Xendit. The site may display estimated prices in other currencies, but the amount on your card statement reflects the IDR charge.
Approved refunds are processed manually back to the original payment method, in IDR, and may take several business days to appear. Because the original charge was in IDR, any currency conversion on your statement is handled by your card issuer and the converted amount may differ slightly from the original estimate.
Operator & jurisdiction
Bali Luxury Stays operates from Canggu, Bali, Indonesia (Jl. Subak Canggu No.2, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361). Bookings are governed by the laws of Indonesia. The data collected at checkout to process your booking is your name, email, phone number, and country.
